About Us
A Cornerstone of Kaukauna
Kaukauna Coffee and Tea has long been one of the Fox Valley’s favorite cafes. Located on Wisconsin Avenue in Kaukauna since 1999, this “eclectic grandma’s kitchen” is the perfect spot for a cozy breakfast or lunch, relaxing breaks, or to simply pick up your favorite drink on your way to work. There is also a kid’s play corner, making it ideal for moms who want to meet up with friends and chill a bit.
Winner of four 2022 Golden Fork Awards and one Silver Fork Award, Kaukauna Coffee and Tea is an experience you won’t want to miss!

Our History
Our location at 127 W Wisconsin Avenue has long been a part of Kaukauna's history. We've been able to research back to 1949, when the site was home to Nu-Way Cleaners, which operated there until 1976.

In 1961, a fire started in the basement of the neighboring Wisconsin Bar, and spread to Nu-Way Cleaners, destroying both buildings and leaving eight people homeless. Newspaper articles from that time referred to it as the "most spectacular fire in 10 years."

Nu-Way Cleaners rebuilt and continued their successful business until 1976, when the business was sold to Avenue Cleaners. In 1979, Ron & Barb's Cleaners took over until 1982, when the location broke with tradition and became Mark's Sub Shop, which enjoyed much success until 1994, when Jim and Karen Block relocated their Donuts Plus business to Wisconsin Avenue from its original Lawe Street address.

In 1999, the building officially opened as Kaukauna Coffee and Tea, and more than 25 years later we are just as excited as ever to be here serving our friends and neighbors.
